Project Brief

The project title is İnegöl Landfill Gas to Electricity Project. The project includes two sets of generators. Each generator has 1.232 MWm/1.200 MWe installed capacity and the total installed capacity of the power plant is 2.464 MWm/2.400 MWe. İnegöl Landfill Gas to Electricity Project is located at İnegöl Landfill Site in İnegöl district of Bursa province of Turkey with the purpose of contributing to the national economy the meeting the increased electricity demand. The project is licensed on 04/10/2018 as 2.464 MWm/2.400 MWe. As per the license issued by Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) all legal rights of the project is given to Novtek Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. An estimated electricity net generation of 19,236 MWh by the efficient utilization of the available LFG by project activity will replace the grid electricity, which is constituted of different fuel sources, mainly fossil fuels. Finally, the electricity produced by project activity will result in a total emission reduction of 37,601 tonnes of CO2e/year and 370,006 tonnes of CO2 for the whole crediting period.
