| Project Brief | Kovancilar Bundled Solar Power Plant consists of 10 individual unlicensed photovoltaic solar power plants and its total install capacity is 9.46 MWe. The plant was established in the accordance with the law of Electricity Market (Law no: 6446). 10 individual facilities are in same town and village of Elazığ, Turkey. The annual energy generation capacity is calculated to be approximately 17,564.6 MWh. Finally, the project is expected to deliver around 11,385 tCO2e in emission reduction annually. The project aims to contribute to reducing national energy deficit and development of local industries as it allows the use of cheaper energy for industrialists and gain advantage in a competitive environment. |
