The GCC Project Verifier LGAI Technological Center S.A. (Applus+ Certification), verify and certify that the GCC Project Activity [4 MW Hydro Project in Sardi Khola, Nepal]:

(a) has correctly described the Project Activity in the Project Submission Form (version 12.3, dated 06/07/2026) including the applicability of the approved methodology [AMS-I.D, version 18.0] and meets the methodology applicability conditions, is additional and is expected to achieve the forecasted real, measurable and additional GHG emission reductions, complies with the monitoring methodology, has appropriately conducted local and global stakeholder consultation processes and has calculated emission reduction estimates correctly and conservatively;

(b) is likely to generate GHG emission reductions amounting to the estimated 6,326 tCO₂eq/yr, as indicated in the PSF, which are additional to the reductions that are likely to occur in absence of the Project Activity and complies with all applicable GCC rules, including ISO 14064-2 and ISO 14064-3, and therefore requests the GCC Program to register the Project Activity;

(c) is not likely to cause any net-harm to the environment and/or society and complies with the Environmental and Social Safeguards Standard, and therefore requests the GCC Program to register the Project Activity, which is likely to achieve the requirements of the Environmental No-net-harm Label (E+) and the Social No-net-harm Label (S+); and

(d) is likely to contribute to the achievement of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), comply with the Project Sustainability Standard, and contribute to achieving a total of 03 SDGs, which is likely to achieve the Silver (+03) SDG certification label (SDG+).

LGAI Technological Center S.A. (Applus+ Certification) has performed a verification of the “4 MW Hydro Project in Sardi Khola, Nepal”. The verification is performed on the basis of GCC criteria for project verification standard, Version 3.1 for the project activity, GCC guideline and host country criteria, as well as criteria given to provide for consistent project operations, monitoring and reporting.
The review of the final version of GCC PSF and subsequent the remote audit/ follow-up interviews has provided Applus+ Certification with sufficient evidence to determine the fulfilment of stated criteria. In our opinion, the project meets all relevant GCC project standard requirements for the GCC. The project will hence be recommended by LGAI Technological Center S.A. (Applus+ Certification) for registration with the GCC.

The verification has been performed following the requirements of the latest version of GCC verification standard, Version 03.1, GCC Project Standard, version 03.1 and on the basis of the contractual agreement.

“The Project Activity complies with all the applicable requirement of the GCC Program and ICAO’s requirements on CORSIA Emissions Unit Eligibility Criteria and CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units, as per Standard on CORSIA Eligibility of Projects and Issuances version 2.0, and the ACCs expected to be issued during the pilot phase are likely to be CORSIA eligible and can be used by International Airlines for offsetting their emissions during pilot phase of CORSIA. The ACCs issued for project activity from 01/01/2021 are likely to be CORSIA eligible and can be used by International Airlines for offsetting their emissions during first and subsequent phases of CORSIA provided it complies with all the applicable requirement of the GCC Program and ICAO’s requirements on CORSIA Emissions Unit Eligibility Criteria and CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units, as per Standard on CORSIA Eligibility of Projects and Issuances & Standard on Avoidance of Double Claiming of Mitigation Outcomes in Host Country NDCs.
