Project Brief

Grassroots Energy Technologies India Pvt Ltd is in the process of implementing bundle project based on micro scale biogas power plant from cattle waste/ agricultural feed stock at Bheldi & Nawagarhi, Bihar, India. The primary objective of the project is to effectively demonstrate the use of anaerobic biogas digesters to not only generate biogas-based renewable energy but also achieve an environmentally friendly way of managing waste.
The purpose of the project activity is to treat the cattle waste/ agricultural feed stock waste generated from dairy farms of villages situated nearby to the project locations in the state of Bihar, India. Biogas units will convert this dairy waste into compost (solid and liquid). Biogas recovered from the project site will use for generation of electrical energy and compost will be sell out in the market.

The annual estimated emission reductions for the project activity is 3,303 tCO2e.
