Project Brief

Kas Bundled SPP consists of 16 individual unlicensed photovoltaic solar power plants and its total install capacity is 13.679 MWe. The plant was established in the accordance with the law of Electricity Market (Law no: 6446). The electricity produced by project activity will result in average emission reduction of 153,480 tons of CO2e for fixed crediting period. 16 individual facilities are located in 4 different provinces which are Antalya, Afyonkarahisar, Çorum and Uşak. The annual energy generation capacity is calculated to be approximately 23,656.59 MWh. Finally, the project is expected to deliver around 15,348 tCO2e in emission reduction annually. The project aims to contribute to reducing national energy deficit and development of local industries as it allows the use of cheaper energy for industrialists and gain advantage in a competitive environment.
