Besaksakal Bundled SPP consists of 15 individual unlicensed photovoltaic solar power plants and its total install capacity is 14.307 MWe. The plant was established in the accordance with the law of Electricity Market (Law no: 6446). The electricity produced by project activity will result in average emission reduction of 161,940 tons of CO₂e for the fixed crediting period. 15 individual facilities are located in 2 different provinces which are Adana and Elazığ. The annual energy generation capacity is calculated to be approximately 24,960.33 MWh. Finally, the project is expected to deliver around 16,194 tCO₂e in emission reduction annually. The project aims to contribute to reducing national energy deficit and development of local industries as it allows the use of cheaper energy for industrialists and gain advantage in a competitive environment.
