Project Brief

Yaliniz Bundled Solar Power Plant consists of 14 individual unlicensed photovoltaic solar power plants and its total install capacity is 12.896 MWe. The plant was established in the accordance with the law of Electricity Market (Law no: 6446). The electricity produced by project activity will result in average emission reduction of 151,600 tons of CO2e for fixed crediting period. 14 individual facilities are located in two different provinces which are Elazığ and Niğde. The annual energy generation capacity is calculated to be approximately 24,357.68 MWh. Finally, the project is expected to deliver around an average of 15,160 tCO2e emission reductions annually over the crediting period. The project aims to contribute to reducing national energy deficit and development of local industries as it allows the use of cheaper energy for industrialists and gain advantage in a competitive environment.
