| Project Brief | The project is being implemented by BEÜAŞ Elektrik Üretim Anonim Şirketi, as the project owner, Ceylanpınar district, Sanlıurfa province, in Turkey. The project activity avoids methane emission through the capture and utilization processes. Furthermore, the project reduces CO2 emission from fossil-fuel based electricity generation by supplying biogas-based electricity to the national grid. This project adopts a fixed crediting period of 10 years. The estimated average net annual emission reductions are 274,902 tCO2eq/yr. Accordingly, the project is expected to generate 2,749,024 tCO2eq/yr emissions reduction during the crediting period.
