Project Brief | TianRun XiaoCaoHu 99MW Wind Power Project aims to build a wind farm with a total capacity of 99MW in Toksun County, Turpan, Xinjiang, China, and use wind resources to generate electricity. The electricity generated by the project will be sold to the North West Power Grid (NWCPG). The proposed project provides renewable energy and reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by replacing electricity provided by the NWCPG. The project is expected to achieve a green-house gas emission reduction of 171,757 tCO2e annually. The total emission reductions during the fixed 10-year crediting period are 1,717,570 tCO2e.
