| Project Brief | The project activity involves biomass power plant with two generation units in Denizli Deri İhtisas Organized Industrial Zone in Honaz District of Denizli Province. As a fuel for power generation, the project proposes to use poultry litter and forestry waste which are waste product of the farming industry and are presently dumped in pits near the farms, resulting in emissions of methane to the atmosphere. Project activity is aimed to involve 150,000 MWh estimated annual generation with total of 20 MWe capacity. The produced electricity is delivered to the Turkish national grid which is mainly dominated by fossil fuel-based power plants. |
