Project Brief

Uğur 1 Bundle SPP, operated by AKGEN ENERJİ SANAYİ VE TİC.LTD.ŞTİ. and TURRA ENERJİ DERİ TURİZM GIDA MADDELERİ İNŞAAT SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, 11 individual Unlicensed Photovoltaic Solar Power Plants which are AKGEN-1,-2,-3,-4,-5 and TURRA-1,-2,-3,-4,-5,-6. The plants have a capacity of 10.89 MWe in total, which is formed according to the Law no: 6446 on Electricity Market Law.The purpose of the project is to generate clean energy by harnessing the solar power and providing the energy to the Turkish national grid. By implementing the project, investors also aim to reduce dependency to the fossil fuels thereby reducing the sources of environmental pollution. The SPPs are in Kahta and Sincik Districts, Adıyaman Province. The average annual generated energy of 20,034.62 MWh will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 12,985 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum and 129,850 tonnes of CO2 for the whole 10-year crediting period
