Project Brief

The project activity involves installation of 80 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Project in Sudi Village, Amod Tehsil, Bharuch district of Gujarat state in India. The project is implemented by KPI global Infrastructure Limited, a 100% subsidiary of KP Group. The proposed project is connected to the Indian national grid through 66kV GETCO substation located at Amod.

The generated power from the project activity is being supplied to the third-party consumers through the wheeling agreement with GETCO. Project Owners have signed a Power Purchase agreement with the consumer organizations to supply the generated solar power at the contracted unit price. As electricity generated from the project replaces the grid electricity which is predominantly generated through grid-connected fossil fuel-based power plants, the project avoids equivalent amount of associated CO2 emission.
