Project Brief

Fevzipasa-2 Obakoy Bundled Solar Power Plants aims to provide clean energy to the National Grid System of Turkey while contributing to sustainable development and protecting environment. In the absence of this project, same amount of electricity would be used from the carbon intensive nationa grid and would release CO2 into the atmosphere. Project activity is a renewable type energy project, harnessing natural solar energy to produce electricity. Project comprises 13 identical units of photovoltaic power plants, located in province of Gaziantep in Turkey. Project has a total installed capacity of 14.2 MWp (13.0 MWe) with an average annual electricity generation of 23.86 GWh. During the 10-year project crediting period, project activity is expected to produce 152,761.1 tCO2 emission reductions.
