Project Brief

The project activity involves power generation from a 4 MW hydroelectric project based at the outlets of Right Bank Canal (RBC) of Mula dam located in Maharashtra State. The purpose of the project activity is to produce renewable energy using hydro power and supplying electricity to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).The project activity will consist of 2 Numbers of S-Type Tubular Turbines each with a generator output capacity of 2000 kW for generation of electricity. The average annual generated electricity is expected to be 10,512 MWh and avoid emission of 95,040 tCO2 for 10 year period.
