Project Brief

The proposed project activity involves installation of 44 MW wind power project in the Lahori, Samgimanda, Girwar, sapkheda and Naulaka villages of Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The Project activity Involves the installation of the Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) to convert the available wind energy into the electricity. 

The project is commissioned, operational and the total project capacity has been connected to the national Grid through the erected distribution and transmission lines. Generated power from the project is being supplied to the national grid. Project owners have signed a long-term power purchase agreements with the DISCOM to supply the generated power at the contracted price. Proposed project activity is built, own and operating by Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited.

Additional Information

Project activity is expected to generate 78,687 MWh of electricity per annum. The project activity is expected to reduce an annual average emission reductions equivalent to 73,218 tCO2 over the 10-year crediting period and reduces 732,181 tCO2 for the whole crediting period.
