Project Brief | Implemented with the objective of generating clean energy (electricity) by harnessing renewable energy (solar) resources and curbing emission of greenhouse gas, the proposed project activity includes bundled grid connected Solar Power Projects (comprising of ten individual solar power plants) with cumulative capacity of 10.128 MW. The solar power projects are deployed in Turkey by Momentum Enerji Elektrik Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. at sites where no renewable/solar power plants were operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field power plant). The project is expected to result in an average annual supply of 16,165 MWh/year (between 29/12/2016 - 28/12/2027) and cumulative supply of 161,655 MWh of green power to the national grid across the crediting period thereon displacing equivalent amount of electricity from the generation-mix of power plants connected to the national grid, which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil fuel-based power plant. |
