Project Brief

The Project activity is new green- filed installation of 110 MW Solar Power plant for power generation and supply to the National Grid by TP Saurya Limited. The project activity occurs in Noorsar village, Rajasthan and produces 263,707 MWh of electricity and inject into the National grid and thereby reducing 245,382 t CO2/Annum into atmosphere, that would have been produced by fossil fuel based Thermal generation plant in the National grid. The baseline and the pre project scenario are same for the project activity, as the project is a new greenfield installation and there is no happening in the absence of the project activity.

The Project capacity of the power plant will be of 110 MW(AC), using 152 MWp array at Solar Photovoltaic (mono perc) Technology. TSPSSL will construct 33/220kV pooling substation for onward transmission of power generated from Solar units. The 110 MW Power will be transmitted from TPSSL solar plant to PGCIL through 220 kV single circuit tower. The conductor used is suitable AL59 Zebra / Moose, which can carry 335 MW.
