Project Brief

The proposed project activity is the installation of a new grid-connected 100 MW Solar power plant/unit at a site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project activity is solar power project which is being implemented in Village of Partur, Jalra District Maharashtra of India by TP Kirnali Limited. The electricity generated from Project Activity is exported to the Indian grid there by displacing the consumption of electricity from the regional grid electricity distribution system.
The electricity generated by the project “TP Kirnali Limited” will thus replace the equivalent amount of electricity generated by the operation of existing grid connected power plants (mostly fossil fuel-based power plants). In this scope TP Kirnali Limited planned to install Solar Panels in with the purpose of contributing to the national economy. The estimated annual average electricity generation by the project activity is 223,604 MWh.The project was commissioned on 25/05/2022
