The main purpose of this project activity is to generate electricity through renewable wind energy sources. Skeiron Renewable Energy Amidyala Limited is the owner of the proposed project activity and is a SPV under Greenko Energies Private Limited. The project activity involves installation of 108 wind energy generators (WEGs) each of 2.1 MW rated capacity in different villages as stated in section A.2 at Amidyala in Anantapuram district in the State of Andhra Pradesh (AP), India. Hence the state of Andhra Pradesh is considered as geographical area and the project boundary includes the spatial extent of project site where the plant has been installed, power evacuation infrastructure including the other power stations feeding to the connected electricity grid, energy metering points, switch yards and other civil constructs.
