Project Brief

The proposed Project Activity is a new grid-connected 50 MW wind power plant/unit at a site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The Project Activity is being implemented in state of Karnataka in India by Vyshali Energy Private Limited - 50 MW is a Special Purpose Vehicle under Greenko Energies Private Limited. Hence the state of Karnataka is considered as geographical area and the project boundary includes the spatial extent of project site where the plant has been installed, power evacuation infrastructure including the other power stations feeding to the connected electricity grid, energy metering points, switch yards and other civil constructs.

The annual average net electricity generation from the project activity is estimated to be 109,500 MWh on an average over the ten-year crediting period.
