Project Brief

Aluform Bundle SPP, operated by Aluform Pekintaş Alüminyum San ve Tic A.Ş, 6 individual Unlicensed Photovoltaic Solar Power Plants which are BHE-1, BHE-2, BHE-3, BHE-4, BHE-5 and BHE-6. The 6 power plants were acquired by Aluform Pekintaş Alüminyum San ve Tic A.Ş and named after it.  The SPPs are in Gögerli Village, Viranşehir District, Şanlıurfa Province. The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emissions from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. The project activity will remove GHG emissions by avoiding CO2 emissions from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. The average annual generated energy of 11,406.58MWh will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 7,400 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum and 74,000 tonnes of CO2 for the whole 10-year crediting period.
