Project Brief | The project is reducing national energy deficit and development of local industries as it allows the use of local sources for energy generation to meet the increasing demands. Solar panels are located at the roof and at the ground. Electricity generation by the solar panels on the roof and ground are 20,942 MWh and 5,979 MWh, respectively. The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emissions from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. The average annual generated energy of 26,921 MWh, will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 17,449 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum and 174,490 tCO2e in the crediting period. |
