Project Brief

Fevzipasa-1 Bundled Solar Power Plants (SPPs) aims providing clean energy to the National Grid System of Turkey (NGST) through contributing to sustainable development, protecting environment and not releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. In the absence of this project, same amount of electricity would be used from fossil fuel dominated NGST and would release CO2 into the atmosphere. Project activity is a renewable type energy project, harnessing natural solar energy to produce electricity. Project comprises 12 individual units of photovoltaic power plants, located in province of Gaziantep in Turkey. Project has a total installed capacity of 13.1 MWp (12.0 MWe) with an average annual electricity generation of 21.4 GWh. During the 10-year project crediting period, project activity is expected to produce 132,703 tCO2 emission reductions.
