Project Brief

Ödek Beyges Solar Power Plant Bundle Project consists of 13 individual Unlicensed Photovoltaic Solar Power Plants with a capacity of 14.4 MWp in total.

The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. Total installed capacity included by the GCC project is drawn as 14.4 MWp. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 25,235.21 MWh according to the generation values and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 15,784 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum. The total emission reduction for the whole crediting period is calculated as 157,844 tonnes of CO2.

The project is expected to contribute 5 SDGs which are SDG 6, 7, 8, 11 and 13.
