Project Brief

The proposed project activity is the installation of a two new grid-connected bundled 70 MW Solar power plant/unit at Maharashtra State and Karnataka State of India at sites where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project activity consists two solar power projects of capacity 50 MW being implemented at Village - Mograle, Tehsil - Man, District - Satara, Maharashtra, India and 20 MW being implemented at Village - Maligeranahalli, Taluk - Hollalkere, District - Chitradurga, Karnataka, India by NVR Mahasolar Private limited and NVR Renew Pvt. Ltd. respectively. The electricity generated from Project Activity is exported to the Indian grid there by displacing the consumption of electricity from the regional grid electricity distribution system

Additional Information

The proposed project activity will replace anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG’s) estimated to be average 131,986 tCO2e per annum and a total of 1,319,867 tCO2e over the entire crediting period of 10 years, thereon displacing average 141,769 MWh/year and a total of 1,417,688 MWh amount of electricity from the generation from both of power plants.
