| Project Brief | The project activity is the installation of a new grid-connected 18 MWp Solar power plant/unit at the site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project activity is solar power project which is being implemented in Jinnah Town, Chak 4/10-L near Harappa Bypass, Tehsil & District Sahiwal, Punjab in Pakistan by Harappa Solar Private Limited. The project activity thus reduces the anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) associated with equivalent amount of electricity generation from the existing grid connected power plants (mostly fossil fuel based) and from addition of new generation sources into the grid. |
