Project Brief	The project activity is the installation of a new grid-connected bundled 60 MWAC Solar power plants/units at the six sites where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (greenfield plant). The project activity has been implemented through a Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding Process under Type-1 of the Uttarakhand Solar Energy Policy–2013, in accordance with RfP No.: 02/UREDA/Grid Connect/RfP/2015-16 dated 17/09/201514. As part of this scheme, various technically qualified bidders quoted tariffs for the procurement of power from 170 MW grid-connected solar PV projects in Uttarakhand. The project was executed under a reverse bidding mechanism, wherein the tariff was pre-determined and fixed as per the provisions of the scheme.
