| Project Brief | The project activity is the installation of a new grid-connected 50 MWp Solar power plant/unit at the site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project activity is solar power project which is being implemented in Deh Ghairabad, Mirpur Sakro, District Thatta, Sindh in Pakistan by Gharo Solar Limited. The electricity generated from project activity (operational solar power plant) is exported to the grid, thus replaces the feeding of equivalent amount of electricity generated from the operation of existing grid connected power plants (mostly fossil fuel based). |
