Project Brief | Zhongxing Energy Yuanguang Kezhou Atushi 40MW Photovoltaic Grid-connected Power Generation Project is located in the west of Atushi city, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the project is to utilize the solar energy at the project site to generate and supply electricity to the North West Power Grid (NWPG). The project is a renewable energy project and is expected to supply an annual average of 54,720 MWh of zero-emission electricity to the NWPG during the fixed 10-year crediting period, which replace the power generation of those fossil fuel-fired power plants delivered to the NWPG under the baseline scenario. The project is expected to achieve greenhouse gas emission reductions of 42,644 tCO2e annually. The total emission reductions during the fixed 10-year crediting period are 426,440 tCO2e. |
