Ayes Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. has constructed the Yeniköy Wind Power Plant Project. The aim of the project is to produce electrical energy from wind to supply the Turkish national grid. Ayes Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. constructed a wind power plant in Çanakkale district, Ayvacık province, Turkey.

The project includes 4 turbines and all of them in operation phase. All units have 3.75 MWm/3.75 MWe installed capacity. Annual electricity production is expected to be 45,990,000 kWh according to the generation license.

The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. Total installed capacity is 15 MWe. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 45,990.000 MWh and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 29,821.962 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) annually. For the entire crediting period, 298,220.000 tonnes of CO2 are expected to be reduced.
