Project Brief | Ayes Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. has constructed the Yeniköy Wind Power Plant Project. The aim of the project is to produce electrical energy from wind to supply the Turkish national grid. Ayes Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. constructed a wind power plant in Çanakkale district, Ayvacık province, Turkey. Total installed capacity is 15 MWm / 15 MWe. The annual generated energy is expected to be 45,990 MWh according to generation license. But, since the commissioning dates of the turbines differ, the average annual generated energy is calculated as 43,926 MWh based on the dates for the 10-year crediting period and the project will be able to deliver an average reduction in emissions of around 28,499 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) annually. For the entire crediting period, 284,990 tCO2e are expected to be reduced. |
