Project Brief

Difer Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has constructed the Miskevank Wind Power Plant Project. By means of reducing dependency to the fossil fuels, environmental pollution is significantly reduced. Also, clean energy is generated by using wind power. Regarding to this, Difer Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. constructed a wind power plant in Benekli, Fatih and Dalda Village, Tatvan district and Tahtalı Village, Güroymak district, Bitlis province, Turkey. Based on the applied tool, the project boundary is considered as the National Electricity Grid of Turkey. The baseline scenario refers to the energy generation from the fossil fuels.

The commissioning date of the project is 10/06/2021, it has only 4.8 MWm/ 4.8 MWe commissioned power capacity. The other units have not been commissioned yet and it is planned to be commissioned by 01/04/2024. After 01/04/2024, they would have (3 x 4.8 MWm / 4.8 MWe) and (1 x 5.6 MWm / 5.6 MWe) total capacity with 4 wind turbines-generator group in total 20.0 MWm / 20.0 MWe installed capacity. Annual electricity production is expected to be after all turbines commissioned 70,000,000 kWh according to the generation license.

Annual generated energy is expected to be 70,000 MWh according to generation license. Also, average annual generated energy in the 10-year of crediting period is calculated as 56,772 MWh according to ER Sheet and average annual emission reduction is expected around 36,799 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) for the 10 years 0 month of crediting period. For the entire crediting period, 367,994 tCO2e are expected to be reduced.
