Project Brief

The project activity is a green field project. the installation of a new grid-connected 10 MW AC/ 12 MWp DC Solar power plant/unit at a site. The project activity is solar power project, which is being implemented Karnataka State in India by Celestial Solar Solutions Private Limited. The electricity generated from Project Activity is exported to the Indian grid there by displacing the consumption of electricity from the Indian grid electricity distribution system.

The electricity generated by the project “Celestial Solar Solutions Private Limited” will thus replace the equivalent amount of electricity generated by the operation of existing grid connected power plants (mostly fossil fuel-based power plants).

The crediting period chosen for the project activity “Celestial Solar Solutions Private Limited” is 10 years Crediting Period in which total GHG emission reduction estimated is 165,878tCO2. The annual average estimated emission reductions from project activity are 16,587 tCO2e/annum.
