| Project Brief | Xinghai County Gaqu Hydropower Station Project (hereafter referred to as “the project”) is located on the Qushi'an River in Wenquan Township, southwest of Xinghai County, Qinghai Province. The main purpose of the project is using the hydro potential available in Qushi'an River to generate electricity. The installation capacity of the Project is 80MW, generating approximately 338,810MWh annually and provide net power of 338,132MWh to the grid per year. The power density and plant load factor (PLF) of the project are 32.08W/m2 and 48.35% respectively. The Project will be connected through Qinghai Provincial Grid to the Northwest China Power Grid (NWCPG) and substitute the NWCPG’s fossil-fuel-fired power generation with an annual amount of 225,331 tCO2e emission reduction. |
