Project Brief

Mersan Enerji Üretim Endüstri SAN. Ve TİC. LTD.ŞTİ has constructed the Selimiye Regulator and Hydro Power Plant project. The aim of the project is to produce electrical energy to the Turkish national grid. Mersan Enerji Üretim Endüstri SAN. Ve TİC. LTD.ŞTİ constructed a hydropower plant in Altınordu district, Ordu province, Turkey. The project includes 2 units where one of them has 2.138 MWm / 2.033 MWe installed capacity. Technically, the two units cannot operate simultaneously because the Provisional Acceptance Certificate is valid for 2.138 MWm / 2.033 MWe. It is not possible to operate this project as 4.408 MW in the future. Therefore, turbines work as a spare. According to the generation license, annual electricity production is expected to be 6.632 GWh for the project. Also, the commissioning date of the project is 31/12/2018 (first unit).
