| Project Brief | Erkar LFG Power Plant is located in Erzincan Province of Turkey. Before the proposed project activity, the wastes were left to decay within the Erzincan landfill site and methane was emitted into the atmosphere without any control or utilization. The proposed activity involves the collection of landfill gas (LFG) through solid waste management and using it for electricity generation. Electricity generated is fed to the national grid. |
