Project Brief

Evrencik WPP is a new built wind power plant, located in Kırklareli Province, Turkey owned by Evrencik Rüzgar Enerjisinden Elektrik Üretim Anonim Şirketi. The generation license of the project was issued in 13/01/2022 for 49 years. The project has an installed capacity of 129.60 MWm/129.60 MWe and the annual generation is estimated to be 518,400 MWh.

The purpose of the Project is to produce renewable electricity using wind as the power source and to contribute to Turkey’s growing electricity demand through a sustainable and low carbon technology. The project will displace the same amount of electricity generated by the grid dominated with fossil fired power plants. The annual emission reduction estimated by the project is 336,026 tonnes of CO2. During the crediting period, 3,360,260 tonnes of CO2 are expected to be reduced
