Project Brief | Jinshui River Stage 4 Hydropower Plant (hereafter referred to as the Project) is a hydro power project with total installed capacity of 38MW, locates in Jinshui River Town, Jinping County, Honghe Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, P.R. China. The project is invested and operated by Guangdong Hydroelectric Yunnan Investment Jinping Electric Power Co., Ltd. The project installs two sets of hydroelectric generators with unit capacity of 19MW. The project is a renewable energy project and is expected to supply 153,814 MWh of zero-emission electricity to SCPG, which will replace power generation of those fossil fuel-fired power plants delivered to the SCPG under the baseline scenario. The project is expected to achieve a greenhouse gas emission reduction of 78,268 tCO2e annually. The total emission reduction during the fixed 10-year crediting period will be 782,680 tCO2e. |
