Project Brief

Teksin SPP was built and developed by Teksin Enerji Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The project activity is located in Türkiye's Central Anatolian province of Karaman. The project activity involves the installation of monocrystalline photovoltaic (PV) panels with a total installed capacity of 39.780 MWp/33.124 MWe. The average energy generation per year is estimated to be 71,123 MWh. Consequently, the annual emission reductions are estimated to be 46,102  t CO2e per the applied methodology. It exports the generated electricity to the Turkish national grid with generation from solar power, thereby contributing to the Host Country’s electricity demand, energy diversification, and renewable energy development. The project activity contributes to 4 sustainable development goals (SDGs).
