Project Brief	The Project Activity is the installation of a new grid-connected 119.7 MW wind power plant/unit at a site where no renewable power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field plant). The project is implemented in Andhra Pradesh state of India. The electricity generated from Project Activity is connected to the Indian grid. The project activity thus reduces the anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) associated with equivalent amount of electricity generation from the existing grid connected power plants (mostly fossil fuel based) and from addition of new generation sources into the grid.
Additional Information	M/s Renew Wind Energy (Shivpur) Pvt Ltd. is the SPV of ReNew Power Private Limited and the project owner is ReNew Green Energy Solutions Private Limited. The project shall result in replacing anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG’s) estimated to be approximately 223,847 tCO2/year, thereon displacing 240,437 MWh/ year amount of electricity from the grid.
