Project Brief

Çiftay-3 Solar Power Plant Bundle consists of 77 individual Unlicensed Polycrystalline Silicon Solar Power Plants with a capacity of 76.8 MWe / 91.8 MWp in total, which is formed according to the Law no: 6446 on Electricity Market Law.

The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. Total installed capacity is 76.8 MWe / 91.8 MWp. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 73,859.7 MWh between 01/04/2018 and 31/12/2018 and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 47,876 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) between 01/04/2018 and 31/12/2018, 93,654 tCO2e in 2019 and 94,679 tCO2e after 2019 per annum. Annual average electricity generation is about 142,337.5 MWH and annual average reduction in emission is about 92,263 tCO2e. For the entire crediting period, 921,770 tCO2e tons of CO2 are expected to be reduced.
