Project Brief

Çiftay-2 Solar Power Plant Bundle consists of 41 individual Unlicensed Polycrystalline Silicon Solar Power Plants with a capacity of 38.63 MWe / 45.03 MWp in total, which is formed according to the Law no: 6446 on Electricity Market Law. The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power
Grid. Total installed capacity is 38.63 MWe / 45.03 MWp. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 52,610 MWh in 2018, 73,393 MWh between 2018 and 2028 and 12,232 MWh between 01/01/2028 and 29/02/2028 and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions
of around 34,102 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) in 2018, 47,573 tCO2e between 2018 and 2028 and 7,929 tCO2e between 01/01/2028 and 29/02/2028 per annum. For the entire crediting period, 470,190 tCO2e tons of CO2 are expected to be reduced.
