Project Brief

Tongwei Tangshan Fengnan Solar Power Project is a gridconnected solar photovoltaic power plant with designed capacity of 75 MWp, which locates in Heiyanzi Town, Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, P.R.China. The project is developed and operated by Tongwei Fishery-Solar Hybrid Technology (Tangshan) Co., Ltd.

The purpose of the project is to utilize the solar energy at the project site to generate and supply electricity to North China Power Grid (NCPG) to replace the equivalent electricity generated by fossilfuel dominated NCPG, therefore the GHG emission reductions will be achieved. The project is a renewable energy project and is expected to supply an annual average of 101,299 MWh of zero-emission electricity to NCPG during the fixed 10-year crediting period, and the project is expected to achieve a green-house gas emission reduction of 83,763 tCO2e annually. The total emission reductions during the fixed 10-year crediting period will be 837,637 tCO2e.
