Project Brief | Atakaleres Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. has constructed the Atakale Wind Power Plant Project. The aim of the project is to produce electrical energy from wind to supply the Turkish national grid. The project includes 23 turbines. Of this, 8 units have 4,5MWm/4.5MWe, one has 4,5MWm/4MWe, and the remaining 14 units have 5,7MWm/5,7MWe with total 120,30 MWm/119,80 Mwe installed capacity. Annual electricity production is expected to be 419,300,000 kWh according to the generation license. The project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 227,028 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) annually. For the entire crediting period, 2,270,280 tonnes of CO2 are expected to be reduced. |
