Project Brief

The main purpose of this project activity is to generate clean form of electricity through renewable solar energy source. Vector Green Energy Private Limited (VGEPL) is the promoter of the proposed project activity which involves installation of 40 MW solar power project at village- Dongargaon, Tehsil- Katol, District- Nagpur, Maharashtra. The solar power project is installed in the state of Maharashtra in India by VGEPL, at site where no renewable/solar power plant was operating prior to the implementation of the project activity (green-field power plant ).

Additional Information

The project will reduce anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG’s) estimated to be approximately 74,883 tCO2e/year, thereon displacing average of 80,477 MWh/year amount of electricity from the generation-mix of power plants connected to the Indian grid.
The project is expected to result in cumulative supply of 804,771 MWh of green power to the national grid across the crediting period10 and a cumulative emission reduction of 748,840 tCO2e for the entire crediting period of 10 years.
