| Project Brief | Şavşat Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant includes 2 units (turbines) where one of them has 8.300 MWm / 7.260 MWe installed capacity. The total installed capacity of the plant is 16.600 MWm / 14.520 MWe. The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emission from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to Turkish National Power Grid. The average annual generated electricity is expected to be 49,010 MWh according to the generation license and the emission reduction is estimated around 27,965 tCO2 annually. For the entire crediting period, 279,651 tCO2 are expected to be reduced. |
