Project Brief

Masfen-12 Solar Power Plant Bundle consists of 20 individual Unlicensed Solar Power Plants with a capacity of 17.618 MWp / 14.990 MWe in total, which is formed according to Law no: 6446 on Electricity Market Law. Solar panels, inverters and power transmission lines were intended to be built on an area of almost 170,000 m2 in different regions of Turkey which are Denizli, Isparta and Çankırı. The project activity will generate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emissions from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants connected to the Turkish National Power Grid. The average annual generated energy is expected to be 21,754 MWh and the project will be able to deliver a reduction in emissions of around 14,114 tCO2e (tons of carbon dioxide equivalent) per annum.
