| Project Brief | Acarsoy Biomass Power Plant Project has 15.8 MWe installed capacity, and the project is expected to produce 110,600 MWh of gross electricity annually. The voltage is stepped up to 154 kV, and the power is fed to the grid through the Denizli-4 TM- Denizli Çimento TM (Substation) of the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEİAŞ). It is foreseen that approximately 138,055,200 kg of agricultural and forestry waste will be incinerated annually. The construction of the power plant was started in September 2019 with the Construction Agreement signed with the contractor company, and the plant started generating electricity on 25/10/2020. The plant is currently fully operational. The plant is located in Gürlek Neighbourhood at Honaz District, to the southwest of the province of Denizli. |
