Project Brief	The Adares WPP Capacity Addition Project (referred to as the proposed project from here on) was built and developed by YGT Elektrik Üretim Anonim Şirketi (referred to as project owner from here on). The project activity is in the Selçuk/Kuşadası district of Türkiye’s western İzmir province. The project activity involves the installation of 5 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.00 MW, making the total installed capacity addition to 22 MW. The project owner built 3 more turbines in 2021 and increased the 10 MW capacity of the existing Adares WPP to 22 MW with the 12 MW capacity of the proposed project. The proposed project activity consists of only the capacity addition to the existing Adares WPP. The generation license of the existing plant has been revised and increased to 22 MWh from 10 MW on 17/12/2020. As per the license issued by the EMRA, all legal rights of the project are granted to YGT Elektrik Üretim Anonim Şirketi for 49 years, including pre-construction and construction periods.
