Project Brief

>> Ferro Döküm Solar Bundle Project is a new built greenfield solar power plant project consisting of 3 individual projects. Uzunoluk GES and Kulakboğazı are located in Merkez County of Uşak Province and Kırıkkale GES is located in Keskin County of Kırıkkale Province, Turkey owned by  Ferro Döküm San. Ve Dış Tic. A.Ş. The total installed capacity of the project is 33.684 MWm / 27.8 MWe consisting of 3 separate power plants owned by the same parent company. The projects are exempt from licensing due to national regulations. The construction works of the project is planned to start in Autumn of 2023.  The annual net electricity generation of the project activity is forecasted as 51,170 MWh energy annually.

Additional Information

The purpose of the project is to generate electricity by using clean solar resources to meet the national electricity demand. The project will contribute to the reduction of GHG emission by displacing part of the generated electricity by the Grid, which is dominant of fossil fuel fired power plants. The expected annual GHG emission reductions over the crediting period are 33,199 tCO2e/yr, that will contribute to the alleviation of climate change effects.
