Project Brief

The bundled project activity involves installation of two wind power projects of capacities 23.3 MW, 32 MW each in the states of Karnataka and Gujarat states of India respectively.  Both the projects are commissioned and operational. Both the project has been connected to the National Grid through the locally available distribution substations. Generated power from project 1 and project 2 is being supplied to the government distribution companies under long-term power purchase agreements. The wind power projects are promoted by subsidiaries of Atria Group.

The renewable electricity generated from the project is supplied to the grid and thereby replacing the equivalent amount of electricity from the grid which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil fuel-based power plants. Hence the project will reduce the associated CO2 emission from the grid-connected power plants.
